I stayed at Gathering Oaks Retreat this past weekend with a group of friends and their families and loved every minute of it! I highly recommend it and will definitely be going back! The property was so nice, clean, well-maintained and recently renovated. I stayed in a tiny house and it was decorated so cute! The kids really enjoyed the pool, zip line, and had a lot of open space shaded by beautiful trees to play under! Another awesome thing about Gathering Oaks Retreat is you feel like you’re in the country while on the property, but in reality it’s only 15 minutes or so from Waco.
Gathering Oaks is the perfect, peaceful getaway! I recently held a team retreat there and we all LOVED it. We spent a lot of our time in the Gathering House (which is SO cute!), walking the grounds, and enjoying the camp fire. This is the perfect place for a quiet getaway with your partner or a large group that can still have your own space. I highly, highly recommend and will definitely be back soon!

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. The owners were very hospitable. Everything was super clean and it was a peaceful setting for us to relax but still be close to fun activities in Waco. Highly recommend. We'll be back.
Terrific stay!!!! Clean, comfortable, and so much fun. This is a great place for large get togethers. Had so much fun and will definitely return!!
